The City of Bismarck Public Works Department is accepting written qualifications from professional architectural firms for consulting services related to the re-roofing of the Sludge Plant building at the Water Treatment facility. The services required include conducting a study of moisture infiltration into the current roof system to ensure the long-term health of the new roofing. Consulting services are to include design, preparation of contract documents, bidding assistance, and contract administration for the Water Treatment Sludge Plant located at 615 River Rd, Bismarck ND 58504. Written proposals must address the firm’s experience and ability to perform these services in a timely manner, and should include technical capabilities, experience and performance of the firm and project team, understanding of the project and work approach, knowledge of regulations and local conditions, ability to respond promptly, availability of qualified personnel, and experience with similar projects. The architect will be selected based upon Statements of Qualification, with a selection committee ranking the proposals and recommending a single firm. A detailed scope of work and price will be negotiated with the selected firm. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or inquiries, waive any informality in the process, or accept any response deemed to be in the best interest of the City.
