Reference Number 0000422056 Source ID PU.AG.USA.1343.C6038501 Piggyback Contract No The Project, of which the Work under the Contract Documents is a part, is generally described as follows: Remove and replace grit and screen systems control panel. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis A Bid Security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or Bid Bond for a sum not less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid. YCUA reserves and has the right, in YCUA's sole discretion: to reject or accept any bid/proposal, including without limitation, a non-conforming, not-responsive, unbalanced, incomplete or conditional bid/proposal; to waive any failure to comply with or fully satisfy the requirements of bid specifications or the specifications of a request for proposal; to extend the time for filing a bid or proposal; to reject the bid/proposal of any bidder/proposer if YCUA believes it would not be in the best interest of the project or YCUA to make an award to that bidder/proposer; to reject the bid or proposal of any bidder/proposer whom YCUA finds, after reasonable inquiry, to be non-responsible; to waive all informalities not including price, time or changes in the work; or, to negotiate contract terms with the apparent successful bidder/proposer. OWNER will not engage in unlawful discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, age, sex, height, weight, marital status, or unrelated disability. Bids from minority- and female-owned organizations are encouraged. This Contract requires the use of prevailing wage rates. The selected bidder will be required to complete the debarment certification before being awarded a contract. ENGINEER will transmit to all prospective Bidders of record such Addenda as ENGINEER considers necessary in response to questions arising at the conference. Oral statements may not be relied upon and will not be binding or legally effective. Inquiries and questions should be directed to brian.rubel@tetratech.com. No Bids may be withdrawn after the above date and time for receiving Bids for a period of ninety (90) days.
