The work shall include all supervision, labor, material, equipment, tools, supplies, removal, restoration, and incidentals required to complete the ADA accessibility and concrete repairs at Metropark, New Brunswick, and Trenton Stations. All work must comply with the specifications provided in the Bid Documents. Bids must be submitted electronically via BID EXPRESS. Pre-qualification Requirements: All Bidders must be prequalified for BR- Building Construction Rail (Operating Railroad Environment as GC General Contractor) for an amount of work that is equal to or greater than their bid amount. A minimum rating of "I" ($1,000,001 to $2,000,000) is suggested. Prequalification questionnaires are available from the Bid Express website. Bidders who are not currently prequalified as required or whose prequalification has expired must submit completed prequalification forms by the deadline specified in the Special Provisions. Late prequalification submissions will not be considered. A bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price is required. There is a ten percent (10%) Category 2 SBE/DVOB Goal assigned to this project. Bidders must comply with all relevant New Jersey statutes and regulations. Attendance at pre-bid conference and site visits is strongly recommended but not required. Bidders must bring their own safety apparatus for site visits.
