West Lebanon Township will receive sealed bids for solid waste and recycling collection haulers for residents and businesses in West Lebanon Township, Lebanon County, Pennsylvania. The contractor shall collect, remove, and transport in an approved manner all solid waste, municipal waste, and recyclable materials accumulated within the township by residential property owners, tenants, and businesses. Trash is to be collected every Tuesday or Wednesday of the month starting July 1, 2026, and recycling every other Wednesday starting July 8, 2026. The estimated number of units to be serviced is 400. Residents will make payments for service directly to providers, and a customer list will be provided for billing purposes. The contract will be effective from July 1, 2026, to June 30, 2029. Collection must follow West Lebanon Township's Ordinance Chapter 20 Parts 1 and 2, and no empty trash cans may be placed in the street after pickup; cans must be returned to the customer's property. Proposals must be sealed, plainly marked, and delivered to the Township Office during specified business hours. All bidders must be registered as a trash hauler with Lebanon County Refuse Authority and DEP. West Lebanon Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
