Description

Site work and new construction of a playground / park / athletic field in Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,600-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.

Sealed bids are invited for the construction of two professional-grade pickleball courts (60' x 60' each) in Walker Township, Centre County. The project consists of site grading to establish a proper sub-base and positive drainage for the court area, installation of a 3,600 sq ft concrete pad with a minimum thickness of 4 inches, and providing a professional broom finish suitable for court surfacing. The scope includes supplying and installing 240 linear feet of 10-foot-high, commercial-grade galvanized chain link fencing, with all posts set in concrete footers and all required hardware included. The courts shall be surfaced with a professional, multi-layer acrylic system with regulation lines, involving concrete preparation, an acrylic resurface coat, and two coats of pigmented acrylic court color selected from a standard chart. Landscaping and any seeding or sodding outside the immediate court area are excluded. Each bid must include a 10% bid bond and a statement regarding prior work under the "Equal Opportunity Clause". Bidders are encouraged to visit the site before bidding. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or limit the scope of work. PA prevailing wage rates apply to contracts over $25,000. No bids may be withdrawn within sixty days of opening, unless extended by mutual agreement.
