Description

Demolition, site work and new construction of a bridge / tunnel in Lancaster, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the demolition of a bridge / tunnel.

The work includes excavation necessary to install footings and abutments, construction of footings and abutments as described and per current KYTC Standard Drawings, furnishing and installation of the superstructure as described and per KYTC Standard Drawings, construction of approaches and guardrail as described, removal of the existing structure and appurtenances, clearing and grubbing of the site, traffic control for the road closure in accordance with the MUTCD and KYTC Standards, and mobilization and demobilization for the project. Bidders must submit their offer on the Bid Form provided in the contract documents, and the bid must be submitted under a condition of irrevocability for 30 days. A bid security in the amount of five percent of the total bid price is required, and the successful bidder must provide payment and performance bonds per contract and owner requirements.
