The project consists of approximately 3,000 feet of 24" PVC gravity sewer, 18 manholes, and appurtenances. All labor and materials necessary to perform the work are to be provided. Sealed proposals must be clearly marked and either hand-delivered or, if mailed, enclosed within another envelope and sent allowing sufficient time to reach the specified address prior to the scheduled closing time. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount not less than 5% of the base bid. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety (90) days after bids are opened, though withdrawal is allowed prior to the opening. Any late bids will be returned unopened. The City of Lawrenceburg reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any formalities. Any obviously unbalanced bid may be rejected. Bidders are required to comply with federal non-discrimination laws and certify that no segregated facilities are provided for employees. Minority firms are encouraged to participate.
