Demolition, site work and new construction of an educational facility in Sacramento, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade educational facility.
The project includes the relocation of two (2) portable classrooms from Genevieve Didion to Abraham Lincoln. During the disconnection of the portables at the Didion Site, fiber must be pulled back and coiled in the closest pull box. All low voltage and power are to be disconnected, pulled, and coiled in a pull box 5'-0" away from the building footprint. All remaining utilities also need to be disconnected and capped in a new utility box 5'-0" away from the existing building footprint for ease of connection for the next phase on that site. The existing ramp at Didion needs to be demolished and not moved to the new site. All internal components for the IDF cabinet are to be moved with the building to the new site. When the two classrooms are moved to the Abraham Lincoln Site, they may have to be stored on cribs until the building pad is ready. The building pad is a depressed slab and wood foundations. The building comes with the IDF cabinet with all components for these two classrooms. The scope includes reconnecting all low voltage systems such as data, intercom, intrusion, and fire alarm, and connecting them to existing campus systems to make them operational. New power will be provided to these classrooms as shown in the drawings and connected to the closest panel. Water and sewer connections will be made on site as needed. The project also includes fencing modifications with mow curbs as shown in the drawings, and providing venting for the depressed foundation area so that the floor finish is flush with new concrete walks. Both new classroom buildings will be painted to match campus colors. All roof downspouts are to be connected to the underground storm drainage system. Concrete aprons will be installed as shown in the drawings, and all damaged classroom ceiling tiles will be replaced as needed. Both buildings are to be completely operational on completion.
