Site work and paving for a civil project in Wabasha, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and road / highway.
Grading, aggregate base, box culvert 79J75, intersection improvement, and bituminous paving. The County of Wabasha, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Regulations, notifies all bidders that disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to participate and/or submit bids in response to this invitation, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962 and implementing regulations. Contractors should carefully read the wage scales and Division A of the special provisions as they affect these projects. The Minnesota Department of Transportation notifies all bidders that disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded maximum opportunity to participate or submit bids in response to this invitation, and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, disability, age, sex or national origin in consideration for an award. Increased participation of minority groups, disadvantaged persons, and women in all phases of the highway construction industry is assured, and equal employment opportunity will be provided to all persons. Appropriate parties to any contract must possess valid Certificates of Compliance. Affirmative action requirements must be met by contractors. Failure to implement an affirmative action plan or make a good faith effort shall result in revocation of the certificate or contract.
