Reference Number 0000422302 The Auraria Higher Education Center (AHEC) is requesting bids from electrical contractors to complete the King Center Performance Lighting Replacement project at the King Center building. The existing lighting controls were designed for dimming of incandescent lamps, both of which are no longer manufactured or supported. This project includes the selective demolition of existing lighting fixtures and associated electrical systems, installation of new performance and architectural lighting fixtures, installation of new lighting control systems, and modifications to existing electrical infrastructure within the five (5) theatrical performance areas, including: o Eugina Rawls Courtyard Theatre o Concert Hall o King Center Recital Hall o Black Box Theatres (3) o Music and Dance Studio (MDS) Work includes the removal and replacement of existing lighting controls, installation of new relay panels, control devices, and integration of theatrical and architectural lighting systems, as well as all required wiring, conduit, and associated electrical components necessary for a complete and operational system.
