Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Jericho, Vermont. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Town of Jericho is requesting bids from qualified contractors for the removal of the Jericho Town Forest Dam. The project includes removal of a sheet pile dam and restoration of the impoundment to renaturalize the stream and floodplain system. All dam infrastructure, including sheet piling, concrete blocks, and culverts, must be fully removed and hauled off site. Accumulated sediment should be removed from the impoundment and disposed of on site. A new stream channel will be graded into the former impoundment with accessible floodplains. On-site wood shall be used for grade control structures and floodplain roughness elements. To obtain construction drawings, contact the designated representative. A mandatory pre-bid site visit is scheduled, requiring a hike through wet forest trails to the site location.
