Scope Of Work Completion (Time Range) The scope of work must be completed in July (between July 1, 2026, and July 31, 2026). The USD 250 Transportation Department does not have bus routes used during the month. One inlet must be left open to allow district vehicles access while the other inlet is under construction. B. Driveway Inlet Replacement Remove existing concrete and replace it with post-tension concrete. Provide 8 Thickness of concrete - Medium broom finish Add concrete wire and rebar for reinforcement as needed. Place concrete saw cuts as required to ensure concrete fracturing will occur at the saw cut joints. If repair is needed to the base before concrete installation, a minimum of 8 of AB3 aggregate will be installed and leveled as needed. C. Sidewalk Repair There are a few spots on the concrete sidewalk near the transportation building that will need to be saw cut, removed, and replaced. If asphalt is removed next to the sidewalk edge, the contractor will replace it with new asphalt mix (hot or cold patch is acceptable). D. Appropriate Permits The contractor/vendor will obtain the appropriate permits from the City of Pittsburg or the Kansas Department of Transportation (if needed). If the City of Pittsburg has a Street/Road incentive program, Pittsburg Community Schools USD 250 will work with the City of Pittsburg and the approved contractor vendor to determine whether reimbursement of funds is available.
