Sealed bids are to be received for the Science Lab Relocation at Leonia High School. Bid instructions, forms, and specifications are available for inspection and pick up at Environetics Group Architects, P.C., for a non-refundable deposit. All bidders must use and complete all bid forms and comply with every requirement in the instructions and specifications. Bids must be marked with the project name and delivered in a sealed envelope. Every bid must be accompanied by a certified check or a bid bond in the amount of 10% of the bid, not exceeding $20,000. Bidders and their subcontractors must be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development under the Public Works Contractor Registration Act and provide the relevant certificate. A New Jersey Business Registration Certificate for both the bidder and all subcontractors must also be included. Bidders must comply with the "Law Against Discrimination" and Affirmative Action requirements. The project may be funded in part with grant monies from the New Jersey Schools Development Authority (SDA), and all contractors and subcontractors must agree to be bound by the terms of a Grant Agreement issued by the SDA if applicable. Bids must be submitted by the specified deadline. The Leonia Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive minor informalities. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid meets all requirements, and acceptance is subject to a formal resolution by the Board of Education.
