Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Dell Rapids, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project includes the construction of a 24-inch diameter potable water transmission main from the Shared Resources West Booster Station near Trent, SD to the MCWC Tower 3B Site. The work consists of installing approximately 51,000 linear feet of 24-inch PVC water main via open excavation and horizontal directional drilling methods. It also includes ductile iron fittings and restraints, highway crossings with jack & bored 36-inch casing pipe, isolation gate valves, manual air release valves, a sacrificial corrosion protection system, tracer wire, erosion control, seeding & restoration, pressure testing & disinfection, cleanup, and startup services. This project requires compliance with American Iron and Steel (AIS), Telecommunications Clause per Public Law 115-232, Section 889, Equal Employment Opportunity, and Affirmative Action Requirements and Davis Bacon Requirements.
