The purpose is to receive proposals for the Survey and Remonumentation of 2026 selection corners in Otsego County. This does not constitute a contract for services performed or to be performed. After a successful firm is selected, Otsego County and the contractor will negotiate a contract and a complete scope of services. All proposals become the property of Otsego County and will not be returned. The County is not responsible for costs incurred by respondents in preparation, presentations, site visits, or benchmarks. Submittal of proposals/bids must be on the attached form, sealed and clearly marked as BID 2026-08, and received by the specified deadline at the designated address. An authorized official must sign the Bid/Proposal Form, acknowledging full understanding of the RFP. Insurance requirements include furnishing a Certificate of Insurance from a company licensed to do business in Michigan, acceptable to the County, for Workers Compensation and Employers' Liability (Michigan Statutory Limits), Commercial General Liability Insurance, and Motor Vehicle Liability Coverage for all owned, non-owned, and hired vehicles. Otsego County must be named as Additional Insured on all coverage except Workers Compensation and Employers' Liability. Liability limits are specified by project size. A Waiver of Subrogation and a 30-day notice of cancellation are required on the certificate of liability insurance.
