Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in San Francisco, California. Design plans call for the construction of a seven-story above grade fire / police facility; and warehouse / distribution facility.

The City and County of San Francisco has broken ground on a new eight-acre, state-of-the-art fire and emergency medical services training campus at 1236 Carroll Avenue in the Bayview district. The project will consolidate multiple outdated training sites into a single campus featuring a 50,000-square-foot scenario district replicating San Francisco building types, along with classrooms, apparatus storage, fabrication shops, rubble piles for urban search and rescue, and a backup departmental operations centre. The facility is funded through the voter-approved Earthquake Safety and Emergency Response bond program, with an estimated total delivery cost of approximately $270.8 million and an estimated construction budget of nearly $145 million. Construction management and general contractor teams have been solicited, with site work including deep piles and seismic stabilisation already underway to address liquefaction and high water table conditions.
