Minimum delivery of 1,000 gallons per site, (laurel ave. & clinton st). 2 sodium hydroxide drops will be considered "Normal" delivery. Rear discharge tanker trucks needs to be utilized) Questions are submitted online No Bid date notes: Bids shall be addressed to the Board of Trustees and shall be received at the Office of the Treasurer (Attn: LARRY LUTZ) and marked "Furnish and Deliver as Needed 45,000 GALLONS LIQUID CAUSTIC SODA 50% MEMBRANE GRADE". "It is the bidder's responsibility to ensure that their bid is received by the Purchasing Department in a timely manner. All bids received after the time stated in the Notice to Bidders will not be considered and will be returned unopened to the bidder. Each bidder must deposit with his bid, a certified check of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid or bid bond with a Bonding Company licensed to do business in the State of New York, in the form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any and all bids, and to accept the bid deemed to be in the best interest of the Village of Hempstead.
