Site work for a water / sewer project in Fall River, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The project is located along Brayton Blvd. from N. Main St. west to approximately 100-feet from the North Branch Crawfish River in the Village of Fall River. A. The Work for which Bids are asked includes the following: Remove 230ft of 24" CMP and install 230ft of 24" RCP storm sewer pipe, restore 500sq. yd. of pavement including: geotextile fabric, breaker run, gravel shoulder and base, and asphalt pavement, erosion control, traffic control, and site restoration. B. Incidental Items 1. Saw cutting of existing curb and gutter, driveways, and/or sidewalk shall be considered incidental to the work. A bid item for saw cutting existing street asphalt is included in the bid form. 2. The work and appurtenances required to connect to the existing sanitary sewer and water laterals shall be considered incidental to the work. 3. Removal of existing sanitary and storm sewer structures and/or pipe shall be considered incidental to the work. Sanitary and storm sewer pipe to be removed as part of the sanitary and storm sewer work shall be excavated and the debris removed from the site. Pipe and manhole debris shall not be used as backfill. A bid item for removal of 24-inch CMP is included in the bid form. 4. The adjustment to finish grade of the existing manholes and valve boxes that are to remain shall be considered incidental to the work. 5. Any repairs necessary for damage to existing underground utilities by the Contractor shall be considered incidental to the work. 6. Erosion control items including maintaining rock construction entrances, maintenance of inlet protection, and repairs to damaged erosion control facilities shall be considered incidental to the work. Erosion control facilities is included in the bid form. 7. Dust control shall be considered incidental to the work. Question Deadline 05/01/2026 All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Remove 230ft of 24" CMP and install 230ft of 24" RCP storm sewer pipe, restore 500sq. yd. of pavement including: geotextile fabric, breaker run, gravel shoulder and base, and asphalt pavement, erosion control, traffic control, and site restoration. Bids must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check or bid bond equal to five percent of the maximum bid price, payable to the Owner as a guaranty that if the Bid is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract Documents and furnish the required contract security. If the Successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract Documents and provide the required contract security within 15 days after the Notice of Award, the Owner may annul the Notice of Award and the Bid Security will be forfeited. Bids may not be withdrawn within 60 days after the date of the bid opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, and to award the Contract to the Bidder, who in the judgment of the Owner, will best serve the interest of the Owner.
