The work consists of providing construction services under an indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity Job Ordering Contract for multiple individual projects at various United States Postal Service facilities in Michigan. The contractor will perform a series of repair, renovation, alteration, and minor construction projects issued through separate work orders. All work will be priced using the Gordian Construction Task Catalog, with unit prices based on local labor, material, and equipment costs and adjusted by contractor-proposed Adjustment Factors. For each project, the contractor will participate in a Joint Scope Meeting to review requirements, inspect the site, and provide input on means, methods, scheduling, and constructability. The Postal Service will issue a Detailed Scope of Work and request a price proposal, which will be developed by selecting applicable construction tasks from the CTC, applying quantities, and incorporating the approved Adjustment Factors. Upon acceptance, the Postal Service will issue a Notice to Proceed, and each work order will be completed for a lump-sum, firm-fixed price in accordance with the Technical Specifications defining required workmanship and material quality.
