Provide a complete replacement of the existing fire alarm system in Building 100 with a new, fully addressable Fire Alarm and Emergency Voice/Alarm Communication System compliant with current DoD Unified Facilities Criteria. Work includes removal and proper disposal of the existing fire alarm control panels, annunciators, power supplies, batteries, initiating devices, notification appliances, and noncompliant wiring and conduit. The contractor shall furnish and install a unified, Class B, point-to-point fire alarm and mass notification system using components from a single manufacturer, including new initiating devices, speaker/strobes, live voice evacuation capability, microphones, pre-recorded messaging, remote annunciator, batteries sized to code requirements, and all required wiring and conduit. The system shall interface with HVAC shutdown, integrate with the base-wide radio frequency fire alarm reporting network, transmit alarm, supervisory, and trouble signals directly to dispatch, and be fully compatible with the existing TRX-50 fire alarm reporting system serving designated buildings. The contractor is responsible for design coordination, shop drawings, labeling of all connections, after-hours installation to minimize disruption in an actively occupied Child Development Center, maintaining system operability or providing fire watch during impairments, and providing a temporary portable toilet for the project duration. Services include 100 percent functional testing, third-party verification, acceptance testing with stakeholders and the Authority Having Jurisdiction, and delivery of as-built drawings, calculations, O&M manuals, programming backups, and system access credentials, ensuring the Government retains full administrative control upon completion. The resulting contract will be a firm-fixed price award with an expected Period of Performance of 120 days from issuance of notice to proceed.
