Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Davis, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

Removal of the existing filter media and replacement of the filter media inside the cluster filters located at the Davis Municipal Water Treatment Plant. Contractors must provide all equipment and materials, dispose of all discarded waste, and vacuum out each of the four filters carefully to avoid damaging water nozzles. The vacuum truck tank and hoses will be inspected for sanitary concerns before exposure to equipment. Each filter will be reinstalled with three inches of support gravel at the bottom, twelve inches of media sand in the middle, and forty-two inches of anthracite on top. Only one filter may be out of service per day, and the change must be completed in a single day, with specific work days scheduled. Contractors must maintain liability and workers compensation insurance and provide proof of coverage. The specified filter media materials and quantities are required.
