Completed plans call for the demolition of a 2,400-square-foot transportation facility; 5,000-square-foot transportation facility; for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.

The selected contractor shall provide construction services to demolish an existing 2,400 square-foot steel arch hangar and foundation/footings and erect a 5,000 square-foot prefabricated steel structure with a new foundation system. The scope includes site work around the exterior of the building consisting of concrete, asphalt paving, permeable pavers, stockpiling and reuse of gravel, installation of conduits for electrical and data between existing office trailer and new hangar, installation of a fire hydrant, fencing/gates, and the construction of a Low Impact Development (LID) BMP. Work in the public right-of-way includes the removal and replacement of concrete sidewalk, the removal of concrete sidewalk and grading to meet existing landscaped area, and the trimming of tree roots and installation of root barrier. The contractor must furnish all materials (except where noted), equipment, tools, labor, and incidentals necessary for the construction, complete in place in accordance with the contract drawings and specifications and subject to the terms and conditions of the contract. Items or details not specifically mentioned but required by the Standard Specifications or General Provisions must also be performed and included in the total contract bid price.
