Guilford County Purchasing Department seeks Bids from individuals or firms interested in providing services for Air Handling Unit Renovations for the High Point Detention Center located at 507 East Green Drive, High Point, North Carolina. The contractor is to provide all required labor, tools, material and equipment for the replacement of the existing air handling units and energy recovery wheels. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers check or certified check, payable to Guilford County in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid. A performance and payment bond will be required from the awarded Contractor for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Guilford County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Attendance is required for both the Pre-Bid ZoomGov Meeting and Site Walkthrough being held on Tuesday, June 2, 2026, in order to submit a responsive bid! Bids received from individuals or firms that do not attend both events will be considered non-responsive and will not be considered. Respondents or their sub-contractors must be licensed to perform all fields of required work in North Carolina. Participation of minority-owned and women-owned businesses is encouraged. MWBE participation goal is 10% Question Deadline 06/09/2026 at 2:00 PM ET
