The Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System (ALCMS) and Constant Current Regulator Upgrades project consists of the demolition and removal of portions of the existing airfield lighting systems including constant current regulators, series circuit cutouts and field patch panel, and the replacement of the existing airfield lighting control and monitoring system (ALCMS). Each bid shall be completed on the Bid Form available through the OpenGov Procurement Portal and be accompanied by a bid security for not less than 10 percent of the bid amount. Bidders must also provide executed Local Hire Certification and Skilled and Trained Workforce Certification in accordance with relevant sections of the Modesto Municipal Code. Bid security may be provided as an electronic bid bond via Surety2000, certified check, cashier's check, cash, or original notarized hard-copy bid bond. Bidders must ensure their bid security is received by the City Clerk prior to bid opening. Failure to provide bid security will render the bid non-responsive. Only one bid package will be accepted per bidder. The Bidder is required to review the Plans and Specifications included in the attachments. License requirements for this project include a Class "A" or "C-10" California State Contractor License. The payment of prevailing wages is required. The project duration is 45 working days. The Bidder must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code Section 1725.5. All Bidders must review, complete and sign all required bid forms and upload the documents. Bids submitted without completed information or without the required bid security will be deemed incomplete and non-responsive. Only one bid package will be accepted for each Bidder. Bids will be accepted until 11:00 am on the date of the bid opening and be publicly read online.
