The City of Tucson is seeking interested firms, suppliers, and partners to provide a statement of interest for the redevelopment of the Rondstadt Transit Center. Interested parties are invited to share ideas, concepts, and strategies for the future of this site, which will help shape Downtown Tucson. This is a Request for Information (RFI) meant to inform a future competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) process to be launched in early 2026. Background details and additional property components are available in an attached brochure. Responses are to help imagine and develop the next chapter for this public space. There are opportunities for a site visit as listed in the brochure. Question Deadline 05/06/2026 at 1:00 PM MT All questions shall be directed to: mike.czechowski@tucsonaz.gov The project shall incorporate uses and character which are thoughtfully integrated and serve a diversity of people working, living, and visiting downtown. At a minimum the project shall incorporate these features: A. Mixed-income multi-family residential units B. Commercial space consisting of hotel and retail, with spaces designed to support and promote local small businesses C. Structured parking D. Public transit office space E. An improved permanent Transit Center F. Public Plaza
