Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Springfield, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and playground / park / athletic field.
Improvements to Forest Park Fitness Course. Project includes temporary sediment & erosion controls, earthwork, bituminous concrete walkways, installation of owner-supplied site amenities & outdoor exercise equipment, base preparation for safety surfacing, landscaping. All questions regarding this bid or its specifications must be made in writing and received by the Office of Procurement no later than 5/6/26 (nwalker@springfieldcityhall.com) in order to be considered. The City of Springfield supports the goal oftwenty percent minority and women (MWBE) participation in all contracts. MA DLS Prevailing Wage rates apply. Demolition, clearing and grubbing required for this work includes, but is not necessarily limited to removal and disposal, removal and delivery to the Owner, or removal and reuse of the followingAll above and below grade Fitness Equipment. Sand Surfacing. Debris and rubble within the project limits. Protection of trees and items to remain. (See Division 01 Tree Protection) Stripping and stockpiling Topsoil. Clearing and preparation of site. Other items as noted on the drawings required to complete the work.
