Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Ashford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
Sealed bids are invited for furnishing all labor, materials, tools, services, and equipment necessary to complete the Renovations at Pompey Hollow Senior Housing. Bidders are required to provide all resources in accordance with the contract documents, including plans and specifications. The successful bidder must furnish and pay for 100% Performance and Payment Bonds and have minimum insurance coverage as required by the CT Department of Housing. Bids must be received by 10:00 a.m. on the specified date and be accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Bond or Certified Check equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid. All bonds must be from sureties registered in the State of Connecticut. The project is funded by the CT Department of Housing and mandates compliance with various federal and state requirements including Equal Employment Opportunity provisions, Non Discrimination Provisions, Davis-Bacon Act, Contract Work Hours Standards Act, Section 3 Contractor Requirements, DOH Program Requirements, and prevailing wage determinations. The Town of Ashford and Ashford Housing Authority reserve the right to accept or reject any bids or proposals, and encourage submissions from Section 3 firms, MBE's, WBE's, and SBE's.
