Renovation of a municipal facility in Jennings, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
General Requirements: The Contractor shall be responsible for submitting any/all needed permit package(s) to the local government(s) and paying all associated fees. Contractors shall receive the building permit prior to commencing work. The Contractor is responsible for demolition and disposal of the existing plumbing fixtures and materials. Disposal of all generated construction debris shall be in compliance with all applicable environmental rules, codes, and laws. Original Construction Plans are being provided as a reference to project requirements. They are for informational purposes to assist with quantities and bidding. The Owner will supply 87 water closets (toilets), 19 urinals, and 65 sinks; collectively referred to as Fixtures. Fixture quantities will need to be verified by the contractor. Newly replaced plumbing fixtures shall be fully functional with no leaks or defects. Contractor shall supply and install all needed incidentals and all cosmetic work to provide a professional finished appearance. This includes but is not limited by: o Toilets shall be installed with new gaskets, bolt kits, sensor kits, tailpieces, and seats. o Urinals shall be installed with new gaskets, flanges, and sensor kits. o New sinks shall include new Zurn automatic battery powered faucets, grid drains, supply lines, and ADA drain covers at ADA sinks. o Additional incidentals may include but are not limited to: Supply lines Shut off valves Traps Bolts, screws, and washers Plumbers putty/caulk/sealant materials The Contractor will coordinate with the FDOT Project Manager each workday during the life of the contract. Damaged or Destroyed Property. The Contractor shall be responsible for the cost of replacement or any labor and replacement parts that are required for the repair of any property that was damaged or destroyed by the Contractor during this Project. The Department has the option to deduct the costs of all repairs or replacements completed from the Contractor's invoice or to require the Contractor to pay for the repairs and replacements. The Department reserves the right to make immediate repairs to correct damage to property when such loss is detrimental to the Department's operations. Contractor to warrantee materials and workmanship for 1 year. .
