The scope includes repaving the roadway, providing shared-use paths, sidewalks, and bicycle lanes, replacing Bridge #937704 over the Carver Canal with a new 102-foot bridge, upgrading sidewalks and curb ramps to meet ADA requirements, and installing pedestrian lighting. Construction will be phased, with a temporary full closure of 36th Street between Australian Avenue and Townhouse Court during bridge construction, while maintaining pedestrian access across the canal and access to adjacent properties.
