Site work for an educational facility in Dunkirk, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
The scope of work includes general (site) construction for the 2024 Capital Improvement Project - Phase 1.1, Concrete Mini-Bid Package at the High School in the Dunkirk City School District. Instructions to bidders include: - Bidding documents may be examined at several listed locations and obtained at Avalon Document Services upon deposit of $100 per set. - Bidders must contact Avalon in advance for pick-up or to arrange for shipping and must provide a shipping account number or pay for all shipping and handling costs. - Each bid must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in the amount of 5% of the bid, executed by the bidder and a surety company approved by the owner. - Performance bond and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract sum must be delivered when the contract is signed. - Questions on plan and specification meaning must be submitted in writing to the specified project manager. - No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days of bid opening. - The owner reserves the right to waive inconsistencies and reject any or all bids. - Partial reimbursement for bidding documents may be given for returned good condition sets per specified terms and deadlines. - Contractors and subcontractors must have proof of registration with NYSDOL per Labor Law Section 220-i(6).
