Site work and paving for a road / highway in Siren, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
The Town of LaFollette is accepting sealed bids for shouldering Indian Creek Road, starting at Spencer Lake Road termini and continuing toward the 360th Ave. termini, for approximately 5,914 feet. The project requires placement of approximately 530 tons of state-approved compacted gravel, 3 feet wide on both sides and 3 inches thick. The bidder's unit price bid must include all costs associated with producing, hauling, and placing the material, including mobilization and demobilization of labor and equipment, quality control testing and reporting, production of material to specifications, traffic control, permitting, licensing, reporting, overhead, profit, administrative costs, and any other incidental items required for the work as specified. All work must be completed in accordance with the latest edition of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, Part 1 and relevant sections of Part 4. The Town of LaFollette reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bidding process or accept bids which best serve the interest of the town.
