The purpose is to select a firm or firms to provide professional consulting transportation engineering and transportation planning services for "As-needed Transportation Engineering and Planning Services." The City is seeking these services for a period of three years, with the option to extend the contract term for up to two one-year extensions. Proposals must be submitted using the provided format, prepared simply and economically with a straightforward, concise description of the offeror’s ability to meet the requirements. An official authorized to bind the offeror must sign the proposal. Each proposal must remain valid for at least ninety days from the due date. Proposals should not contain erasures; mistakes may be crossed out and corrected and must be initialed in ink by the person signing. Responses will be evaluated using a point system. Fee proposals will not be reviewed until after initial evaluation. Top proposals will be selected for fee proposal opening, and the City may choose to interview selected firms, including key personnel assigned to the project. All proposals are due and must be delivered to the City by the specified deadline. Proposals submitted late or via oral, telephonic, telegraphic, electronic mail, or facsimile will not be considered or accepted.
