Sealed proposals will be accepted for the following work: T-333, 1.24 miles, consisting of roadway base repairs (784 SY), milling of bituminous paving notch (325 LF), WMA wearing course 9.5 mm mix Level I (50 gyrations) (1179 tons), 2RC aggregate shoulders (480 tons), and fiber reinforced seal coat interlayer (13,096 SY). Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished by the municipality and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the bid, made payable to the municipality. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Prevailing wage rates will apply to this project. Repair roadway base areas to the depth and width indicated. Work will include excavation, removal and disposal of material (or as directed by the municipality), and tack coating of all vertical bituminous surfaces. Furnish, place, and compact 19 mm Binder Course material (the cost of this material is included in the unit price of this item). Undercut unstable areas as directed and replace and compact 2A aggregate material (this work will be paid as an extra work item, approval required prior to completing).
