The Wirth Park Athletic Complex Redevelopment Project Contract B - Synthetic Turf Construction consists of furnishing labor, equipment, materials and work necessary in the construction of three synthetic turf baseball infields, one full synthetic turf baseball field with bull pens and alternate bid eight (8) synthetic turf batting cages. Furnish all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary to install, in place, all synthetic turf materials as indicated on the plans and as specified herein. The synthetic turf system shall consist of the rubber/sand infill synthetic turf including specified markings laid on a graded stone base provided by others (Contract A - General Site Construction). Provide all necessary fastening systems to connect turf to a perimeter wood nailer system attached to a concrete curb. Concrete curb and wood nailer will be provided and installed by others (Contract A - General Site Construction).. The installation of all new materials shall be performed in strict accordance with the Synthetic Turf Manufacturer's installation instruction standards, and in accordance with all approved shop drawings.
