Renovation of a military facility in Covington, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a military facility.
Sealed bids are invited for work at 1320 N Columbia St, Covington, LA 70433. Contractors must attend a mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit, and only bids from those who attend the entire conference will be accepted. Bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent of the base bid and additional bid items, in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond. Contractors must be licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for ELECTRICAL and/or MECHANICAL classifications, and comply with LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond equal to 100% of the contract amount. Bids may not be withdrawn for forty-five days after receipt except as provided by LA R.S. 38:2214. Bids may be submitted electronically prior to the specified deadline. Printed bid documents are not provided, but may be reproduced at the bidder's expense. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids for just cause. Participation in the Louisiana Initiative for Small Entrepreneurships (SE) Program (Hudson Initiative) and the Veteran-Owned and Service-Connected Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Entrepreneurships Program (Veteran Initiative) is encouraged.
