Bids are invited for the Moosic Borough Spring Brook Creek Sediment Removal Project in Moosic Borough, Lackawanna County, PA. The project involves the removal of sediment, rocks, woody materials, and other debris from the bed and banks of the stream in accordance with project plans and permits. Additional work includes erosion and sediment control, site access, and disposal at an approved site in compliance with project permits and all local, state, and federal regulations. Prospective bidders must familiarize themselves with the site and review the construction documents. Bid proposals must be submitted on provided forms, include bid security equal to 10% of the total bid, and, if awarded, require separate payment and performance bonds each for 100% of the contract price within 10 days. All items in the "Contents" of the "Contract Documents" noted with an asterisk (*) must be included with the bid. The project is subject to the Pennsylvania Prevailing Minimum Wage requirements and the Steel Products Procurement Act. Moosic Borough reserves the right to reject any or all bids or waive informalities. Bids may be held for up to sixty days for review, during which no bid may be withdrawn.
