This project calls for professional construction services for stream restoration at North Asheboro Park. This project is located at North Asheboro County Park in Randolph County, NC. This project will implement stormwater infrastructure throughout the park and restore a portion of Hasketts Creek, which runs through the park's center. The stormwater features to be constructed include three pocket wetlands, three water quality swales, two cisterns, a stormwater outfall stabilization, a vernal pool construction and tributary enhancement, and an enhancement of an existing wetland area. The stream restoration will include 700 linear feet of Hasketts Creek within the park property. The stream work will consist of the construction of riffles and pools, the installation of stone and boulder toes, vegetated geolifts, a cross-vane feature, and the establishment of a 50-ft riparian buffer.
