Sealed bids are invited for the construction of the Slidell Police Department Facility for the City of Slidell, Louisiana, requiring a Louisiana Contractor's license in Building Construction. Only bids from contractors who secure contract documents from the Architect or through Central Bidding will be considered responsive. Bids must be accompanied by bid security amounting to five percent of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the form specified in the Instructions to Bidders. An executed affidavit and attestation form must be provided prior to bid award. Required Certificates of Liability Insurance must list the City of Slidell as additionally insured. All applicable Federal, State, and Local laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations apply. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked for the Slidell Police Department Facility, with the appropriate job number, Louisiana Contractor's license number, and bid number. Only authorized representatives may sign the bid. Deposits for contract documents are refundable for bona fide prime bidders, with a 50% refund for others upon return of complete, unmarked documents within 10 days after bid receipt.
