Site work and paving for a road / highway in Monticello, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The project consists of street reconstruction with concrete pavement on N. Main Street. Bids will be received for a single prime contract and shall be submitted on a lump sum and unit price basis, with additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form. No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount bid, payable to the owner as a guarantee that, if the bid is accepted, the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder once the contract is signed, and if the bidder fails to do so within 15 days, it shall be forfeited to the owner as liquidated damages. Online bidders are required to deliver the original certified check, bank money order, or bid bond within 72 hours of bid opening to the specified engineering office. Bids may not be withdrawn within 90 days after the bid opening. The owner reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of any item or portion of the work, or to omit portions of the work, as deemed necessary, and to make appropriate additions or deductions to the contract price. The owner also reserves the right to waive any informalities, reject any or all bids, or any part of a bid, and to award the contract to the bidder who, in the judgment of the owner, will best serve the owner's interests. There will be no pre-bid conference and bidders do not need to be prequalified. Minority-owned Business Enterprises (MBE's), Women's Business Enterprises (WBE's), Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (DBE's), and Small Businesses in Rural Areas (SBRA's) are encouraged to submit bids. A good faith effort to achieve a combined minimum goal of participation for MBE/WBE utilization is required. If a subcontractor awards subcontracts, these requirements also apply to the subcontractor.
