Work consists of a reuse water pipeline including furnishing and installing approximately 30,000 feet of 8-inch DIPS, DR 11 HDPE by open-cut and directional drilling methods; various fittings; gate valves; air release vacuum assemblies; drain connections; surface restoration; installation of an Owner supplied buried pump station; a water level pump control system; and all related fittings, appurtenances, restoration, flushing and testing, signage, seeding, and gravel. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked to indicate it contains a Bid for the Project, prepared according to the Instructions to Bidders. Each Bid must be accompanied by a separate envelope containing a Bidder’s Bond executed by the Bidder and a surety company authorized in North Dakota, in a sum equal to five percent (5%) of the full amount of the Bid. Certified checks are not accepted. Bidders must be licensed for the full amount of the Bid as required by North Dakota law, and each Bid shall include a copy of the Contractor’s license or renewal issued by the Secretary of State in the outside envelope. Bids must be on the Bid Form provided by the Engineer and must comply fully with all requirements. Contracts will be awarded based on the lowest responsible and responsive Bidder. The City of Williston reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or waive informality. The outside envelope must show the Project Name, Work covered, Bidder’s name, acknowledgement of all Addenda, and the separate envelope with required documentation.
