The project consists of the following approximate principal quantities: Aggregate chip seal 12012 SY, Asphalt Removal 50,950 SF, Curb & Gutter 258 LF, Striping of various Groove & Latex markings 10,469 LF, Milling Pavement Surface 3466 SY, 4" Asphalt Overlay 1250 Tons, Remove & replace Concrete 3196 SF, Lighting & Utilities Systems, Patching, Remove Ballards 40 EA. ALL BIDDERS are required to view the proposed project site area in order to familiarize themselves with the details of the area prior to submitting a bid. The Project Plans and Specifications may be viewed at the office of the CITY ENGINEER. Project Plans, Specifications, Bid Forms and Contract Documents may be obtained from the City Engineering Department located at 1121 5th Street East, Williston, ND or at P.O. Box 2437, Williston, ND 58802-2437 for payment of a nonrefundable $50.00 fee. Digital copies of the Project Plans, Specifications, Bid Forms and Contract Documents are also available at www.questcdn.com for a fee of $50.00. Each bid is to be submitted on the basis of cash payment for the work and is to be enclosed in a sealed envelope addressed to the Finance Director. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Bidder's Bond in a sum equal to 5% of the full amount of the bid, executed by the BIDDER as principal and by a surety company authorized to do business in this State, conditioned that if the principal's bid be accepted and the contract be awarded to him, he within 10 days after Notice of Award, will execute and effect a contract in accordance with the terms of his bid and provide a Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. The Bid Bond and Contractor's License Renewal Certificate shall be submitted in a separate sealed envelope attached to the outside of the Bid Envelope. Bidders must be licensed for the highest amount of their bid. Each Bid shall be marked on the outside of the envelope, the date of the proposal, the name of the Bidder, and acknowledgment of any Addendums that were received or on Quest vBid. The right is reserved to reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in any bid and to hold bids for a period not to exceed 30 days from said date of opening of bids.
