Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Willmar, Minnesota. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
The work includes the construction of approximately: EXCAVATION – COMMON 4825 CU YD, BITUMINOUS PAVING 1400 TON, EXCAVATION – SUBGRADE 500 CU YD, STORM SEWER STRUCTURE 42 LIN FT, AGGREGATE BASE 2100 CU YD, 12”– 15” RCP STORM SEWER PIPE 130 LIN FT, BITUMINOUS PATCH SPECIAL 3200 SQ YD, CONCRETE CURB & GUTTER 5000 LIN FT, GEOTEXTILE FABRIC 6650 SQ YD, CONCRETE WALK 7525 SQ FT, PAVEMENT STRIPPING 8600 LIN FT, 6”- 10” PVC WATERMAIN 120 LIN FT, together with numerous related items of work, all in accordance with Plans and Specifications. This project is subject to Prevailing Wage Rates, Truck Rentals, Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goals, Targeted Group Business Program Goals, and Veteran-Owned Small Business, Equal Employment Opportunity Provisions, Buy American Iron and Steel Provisions, Build America Buy America, and Responsible Contractor Certification. Minimum wage rates to be paid by the Contractors have been predetermined and are subject to the Work Hours Act of 1962, P.L. 87-581 and implementing regulations. READ CAREFULLY THE WAGE SCALES AND DIVISION A OF THE SPECIAL PROVISIONS AS THEY AFFECT THIS THESE PROJECT PROJECTS. The Minnesota Department of Transportation notifies all bidders that disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded maximum opportunity to participate and not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, disability, age, sex or national origin in consideration for an award; increased participation of minority groups and disadvantaged persons and women in all phases of the highway construction industry is required, and equal employment opportunity will be provided to all persons without regard to their race, color, disability, age, religion, sex or national origin. Appropriate parties to any contract must possess valid Certificates of Compliance as required by the Minnesota Human Rights Act.
