Site work for a road / highway in Tucson, Arizona. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Develop the Lone Mountain Quarry for road surfacing aggregate production on previously undisturbed land on the Sierra Vista Ranger District of the Coronado National Forest. Work consists of rock blasting and excavating, rock crushing, and stockpiling. Quotations are requested for this scope, and all responsible small business sources may submit a quotation to be considered. Via Email Only To Contract Specialist Richard Ortega richard.ortega@usda.gov There will be no organized site visit. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. From Tucson, AZ take Interstate 10 E 23 miles to AZ-83 S (Sonoita Mountain View Highway) towards Sonoita/Patagonia. Travel south for 53 miles. Turn left onto W Coronado Trail proceed for 5.3 miles. Turn right onto W Lochiel Road for 0.1 mile then slight left onto Lone Mountain Ranch Road proceed 0.1 miles. Turn right onto NFSR 4768 and travel south for 0.6 miles, entrance to the newly constructed quarry access road is on the west side of the road Requests for Information shall be submitted via email to richard.ortega@usda.gov no later than Tuesday, 19 May 2026, at 2:00 PM Pacific Time.
