The scope of work includes specialized decorative concrete construction such as retaining walls, sidewalks with pavers, steps, and accompanying structures, as well as associated improvements to the irrigation system, lighting, landscaping, and a trellis structure. Bidders should have experience with decorative concrete projects exceeding 1,000 square feet within the last five years, including their last seven decorative concrete projects, and must hold a valid Idaho Public Works License. Instructions to bidders are as follows: - Submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) through the City's procurement portal before the specified deadline. - The SOQ must use at least a #12 font and is limited to 20 pages, excluding appendices and the cover letter. - The cover letter is mandatory and should introduce the company, state its interest and experience, and ability to perform the required construction in a timely manner. - Complete and upload the SOQ form, providing company information, details of three specialized decorative concrete projects over 1,000 square feet in the last five years, and information on the last seven decorative concrete construction contracts. Additional relevant information may also be included. - A fee schedule is not required with the SOQ and will not be considered in the selection of qualified firms. - The URA reserves the right to request clarifications or additional information, conduct interviews, reject any or all Statements of Qualification, and act in its best interest. - Authorization to submit must be confirmed by the party submitting the SOQ and all necessary signed documents must be uploaded.
