The Consultant who is selected for this project and all Subconsultants the Prime Consultant will be using are scheduled to attend an initial meeting on July 23, 2026, at 8:30 AM at the Region One/District One Office in Schaumburg. Phase III engineering services are required to provide construction engineering for subject project. This project consists of Drainage Improvements of the Frontage Road Storm Sewers (FRS) in Harrison Street that include Open Cut Trenching and Jacking Sewer Installation for storm sewer size 66", jacking and receiving chambers, pavement removal, backfilling, roadway reconstruction and patching, resurfacing, and jacking watermain and combined sewers under I-290. The Prime firm must be prequalified in the following categories to be considered for this project: Highways (Roads and Streets) Location Design Studies (Reconstruction/Major Rehabilitation) Structures (Highway: Advanced Typical) The Prime firm must be prequalified in the Special Services (Construction Inspection) category to be considered for this project. The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
