Question Deadline 05/14/2026 The IFP Administrator for this Invitation for Prequalification is: Name: Kimberley Ruedy E-mail: Kimberley.Ruedy@metc.state.mn.us The prequalification for this work will be used to create a list of prequalified contractors that will be allowed to perform the work of the specialty compaction grouting, instrumentation, and removal of existing cured in place pipe lining of the Interceptor M228A and Interceptor 7015-C Rehabilitation project. The project is located near 9425 Erickson Ct N, Minneapolis, MN 55428 on Interceptor 7015 C. Major scope of the construction work includes: Mobilization, traffic control, erosion control, utility locates and potholing, construction of temporary shafts (two), construction of permanent shafts (one), construction of manholes, temporary conveyance of wastewater, bulkheads, cleaning of sanitary sewer interceptors, cured-in-place pipe (CIPP), removal of existing CIPP liner, low mobility grouting, instrumentation, pipe grouting and restoration. Approximately 278 feet of 36" CIPP lined RCP pipe has settled and in need of rehabilitation. The existing interceptor is approximately 25 to 30 feet below grade with elevated groundwater conditions. The proposed work consists of raising the interceptor up to 18 inches using low mobility grouting. In addition, the existing CIPP liner will be removed and replaced, and a new M228A Meter Station will be constructed. The project contains three components requiring specialized expertise and experience: The prequalified Specialty Contractor for Compaction Grouting will furnish engineering design, labor, equipment, and material to complete work via compaction grouting measures to densify soils and reestablish the original line and grade of the 36" CIPP lined RCP pipe using compaction grouting. The prequalified Specialty Contractor for Instrumentation Monitoring will provide instrumentation to monitor line/grade of the existing pipe barrel as it is raised in real-time. In addition, instrumentation will be installed on adjacent utilities, residences, and other infrastructure within the project limits that will be subject to movement. The prequalified Specialty Contractor for CIPP Liner Removal will remove 278 feet of existing CIPP liner from 36" CIPP lined RCP pipe under elevated external groundwater conditions prior to installing new CIPP liner.
