The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to perform the cleaning of Digester #6, including the inside of its lid, and ten drying beds at the Lower Poplar Water Reclamation Facility. Bidders must self-perform at least 51% of the work. Bids will be awarded on a lump sum basis for all work required. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond equal to 10% of the bid amount, prepared on the required form and executed by a surety company licensed in Georgia. The successful bidder must provide Performance and Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price. Bidders must comply with Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Participation Requirements and affix their Georgia Utility Contractor License Number to the outside of the bid envelope. Bidders must attend the mandatory pre-bid meeting and purchase the contract documents to be eligible to submit a bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and technicalities.
