Site work and paving for a road / highway in Canton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are invited for the following contracts: Seal Coat Bid, which requires furnishing and placing 15,900 SY of Double Seal Coat with Township-supplied stone; Paving Bid, which requires furnishing and placing 12 tons of Flexible Base Replacement, 402 tons of 25 MM Base Course, 135 tons of 9.5 MM Fine Grade Wearing Course, and 1,487 SY of scarify, grade, and compact. A bituminous escalator clause is included. All work and materials must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Bidders must submit proposals on forms provided by the Municipality. The project requires performance and payment bonds amounting to 100% of the contract value and proof of worker's compensation insurance from the lowest responsible bidder. PA Prevailing Wage Rates apply. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
