Site work and paving for a road / highway in Jonesboro, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals are requested for the "Jackson Parish 2026 Road Program, Contract I – Asphalt Project" classified under Highway, Street, and Bridge Construction. The contract time is 65 calendar days, with liquidated damages of $600 per calendar day. Construction required includes in-place soil stabilization, asphaltic concrete, leveling, and shoulder material. Drawings, specifications, and forms are available from Riley Company of Louisiana, Inc. for $40. A certified check or bid bond for 5% of the bid amount must accompany each proposal. Performance and Payment Bonds, each for 100% of the contract price, will be required. Bids may not be withdrawn for 30 days after opening. The Jackson Parish Police Jury reserves the right to reject any or all proposals for just cause.
