Demolition for an educational facility in Augusta, Georgia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility.
Sealed proposals from General Contractors are invited for the T.W. Josey Demolition Project for the County Board of Education of Richmond County. The contract, if awarded, will be on a lump sum basis. Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond of not less than 5% of the base bid. The successful bidder is required to furnish performance and payment bonds equal to 100% of the contract price. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive technicalities and informalities. Only registered plan holders requesting bidding documents from the architect/engineer will be notified of addenda. No electronic copies will be released to subcontractors. Bidding documents may be obtained free of charge by legitimate bidding general contractors upon request to the architect/engineer; printed documents require a refundable deposit. Bids must be submitted to the County Board of Education of Richmond County, addressed to Dr. Malinda Cobb, c/o Mr. Bobby Smith, CPA, at the Administrative Office, 864 Broad Street, Augusta, Georgia 30901.
